Creation
Eleyon makes the four Yevel from the ether, energy is condensed, the Wevel are made from the energy medium.
Matter is knotted and the material world is created. Plant and animal life is made.
A City for the wevel is established, while a Garden for humanity is established east of the city.
The cup of energy and cup of ether are placed in the centre of the garden, with instructions for when they will be permitted to humanity.
Age of Harmony (Duration Unknown)
Animals and plants within the garden are named and classified. Constellations are classified.
Work begins on the expansion of the borders of Elin, bringing the qualities of the garden into the wilderness beyond.
Four new settlements are established in each of the cardinal directions, each one is presided over by one of the yevel.
The cup of energy is released to humanity to make their labour easier.
Population of humanity reaches about 20000
Alero begins to suggest that humanity is ready for the cup of ether, Ilvesu watches with concern. Some of Alero's wevel agree with him.
Alero now begins speaking publicly in the forums of the city of the wevel and many come to support Him. Ilvesu poisons the cup of ether.
Rebellion. About 600 humans decide that they will drink of the cup before the appointed time. Eleyon returns to judge. The supercontinent is split, the encircling mountains are raised and preparations begin to be made for Elinrise. The sinners are afflicted by death because of Ilvesu's poison, cut off from the plane of energy and expelled into the wilderness. Ilvesu is bound to the fate of the sinners, Alero is unrepentant and is given a time of dominion by Eleyon.
Years of Confusion (Approximately 80 years)
Those who have not sinned are now called the Elves, and while most stay in the garden to continue what needs to be done to execute Elinrise, some venture out to meet their fallen kin in the village of shame, to the west of the garden, and begin to empathise with them in their diminished state.
The brothers Cevos and Epivos are born, Cevos is the elder.
The murder of Epivos and the Aleric covenant with Cevos. The elves grow fearful and preparations for Elinrise are hastened.
The east march based on the leadership of Cevos begins. Alero brings them to the Elerian field. Sixty of the fallen go with Alero, calling themselves the Luminosa.
Age of Light (1 to 1877 years after Elinrise)
1 - Elinrise. The garden of Elin is removed to the far continent, the circular Mirrorsea is left in its wake. Uleva and Oleri go with them. Fourteen of the Elves choose to remain behind as the Ward Elves out of their love for the residents of the village of shame. Eleris is founded by the Luminosa.
25 - Carving of the Elerian Falls.
34 - Foshiris is founded.
60 - Hydroelectric generators are installed in Eleris to harness the power of the falls of the Casezin.
136 - Population of Eleris exceeds 10,000
140 - Population control measures implemented in the Luminosan society.
172 - Alaris is founded with its satellite settlements.
175 - Luminosan population reaches 24,000
185 - Cashiris is founded.
297 - The Grand Temples of the Luminosan pantheons are completed in Eleris
342 - Mechanical Revolution begins. As mentioned before, magic allows a direct application of force to matter, as the user desires. As a result, tools were less essential for early development. However, once they were developed, they enabled less skilled magic users to better focus and direct their magic. Therefore there was still an accompanying rise in productivity with the widespread use of mechanical tools.
373 - The statues of the Luminosan pantheon are completed in Eleris. The generators are incorporated into their design.
423 - Foshiris Link is established with a pioneer lev-tram system.
511 - Capacitance Revolution begins.
573 - The Grand Canal is completed between Eleris and Alaris.
731 - Calvaris established as a settlement to dam the Farives River, an attempt by the Shining Wings to gain greater control of the occasionally unpredictable flow of water from Mirrorsea.
733 - Calvaron Link constructed to improve transport between Eleris and Calvaris
873 - The Automation Revolution begins. Tools begin to take on self-directed functions so that specifically directed human effort is minimised.
957 - Plans for the Sanctuary, the levitating school begin.
1105 - Construction on the Sanctuary begins
1200 - The Sanctuary is launched with great ceremony.
1255 - The Connectivity Revolution begins. Networks are set up and permanently maintained, data streams pump through the streets of Eleris like ichor, energising the First City.
1690 - The Autorepair Revolution begins. Manufacturing reaches a point where machines now service themselves. They can monitor their own condition, understand their original function and request for servicing by fellow machines if necessary. The role of the technician is subsumed.
1744 - Luminosan analysts release results that indicate only 10% of the original raw illemyst crystal remains in the Dälamond Mountain range.
1779 - The School of Postcorporism spearheads the abstraction process with a few pioneer individuals. Once shown to be stable, the process quickly catches on, especially among the older generation.
1803 - The Gavomond Mountains are prospected for metals and the results are promising. Negotiations begin between the Luminosa and the Filial over the mining of the metal.
1804 - Ganvaris is established to supplement the supply of metals from Foshiris
1876 - 1877: The Events of The Cradle of Sinners Occur
Age of Water (1 to 1230 years after Deluge)
c. 200 - Awakening of the projections of Alaris.
459 - The summoning of Alaris, where the Alarian projections call the coastal dwellers to their city.
512 - The Act of Beneficence is passed, beginning the High Alarian age, when Alaris began to spur the communities of the coasts to higher standards of development and technology. Several colonies are founded as bases of operations.
688 - The Act of Equivalence is passed, where the Littorals are requested to make payments for aid. Alarians predominantly come to view themselves as a superior race. Tensions begin between the colonies and the metropole.
843 - The Colonies' Revolution dethrones the metropolitan representative, and the colonies begin to grow into dominions in their own right over the next few decades as policy shifts to favour the colonials.
920 - A misguided attempt is made to upgrade an Alarian generator, it fails, and the projection responsible is exiled to a western colony. Following this, the Alarian foreign policy becomes more explicitly exploitative.
939 - Alero leads the Littorals in a rebellion against their Alarian masters, which is fairly successful, resulting in the secession of the northern and western dominions.
945 - The exiled projection returns to Alaris with the good news of the Aleric portal, and the council of projections is divided on the issue.
998 - War declared between the western Littorals and the Alarians. It lasts for ten years before the Littorals are defeated. The northern dominion declares neutrality and becomes fairly insular under the direction of the Wevel there. Alero is captured and brought to Alaris.
1109 - The first generator fails of natural decay. The death throes of the city begin.
1211 - Construction of the portal tower begins.
1230 - The portal is opened, Eleyon intervenes and the Confusion of languages occurs. Alaris is destroyed.
